The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is seeking a pediatric otolaryngologist to direct its Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. This position includes clinical, academic, research and administrative responsibilities. The division chief will lead an internationally recognized team of clinicians and scientists at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is one of 11 pediatric hospitals in the United States named to US News & World Report’s Honor Roll of America’s “Best Children’s Hospitals” for 2011-2012, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is ranked among the top 10 institutions for NIH research funding.
The desired candidate should have a demonstrated record of academic accomplishment in Pediatric Otolaryngology. Administrative experience desired. Pittsburgh has been consistently rated as one of America’s most livable cities, with big-city sports, arts and amenities, but with a small town charm.
