The Department of Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking a BC/BE and fellowship-trained otolaryngologist to join over 20 full- and part-time faculty at one of the premier residency training programs in the New York Metropolitan Region. Applicants must have training in pediatric otolaryngology (successful completion of a one- or two-year fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology) and have a strong commitment to research, resident training, and medical student education. 

The Department draws patients from a referral base of over 3,000,000 and offers unparalleled opportunities for clinical, academic, and professional development in a collegial setting with excellent benefits, quality of life, and incentive-based faculty practice income. Dedicated NICU and PICU facilities are available at three of our main teaching institutions.  Within the department there is support for robotic, microvascular, and cleft and craniofacial surgery, plus a cochlear implant team that works closely with the Auditory Oral School of New York.

Appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience.  Practice locations will include University Hospital of Brooklyn and Kings County Hospital Center in Central Brooklyn, New York Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, and our Faculty Practice offices in Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, and Central Brooklyn.
