Pediatric Otolaryngologist with Research Focus

The Vanderbilt Department of Otolaryngology seeks a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join an internationally acclaimed faculty at one of the top otolaryngology departments in the nation. Applicants for this position should have an established research interest and demonstrated track record of scientific investigation. Research experience in patient outcomes would be especially desired.

The qualified candidate will practice in a busy clinical and academic division with resident, fellow and nurse practitioner coverage.

The Pediatric Otolaryngology Service currently has 8 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. The Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is undergoing an expansion and will have over 400 beds when completed. The division is a leader in multidisciplinary care and manages multiple teams including: Complex Aerodigestive, Cleft Lip and Palate, Vascular Anomalies, Cystic Fibrosis, Microtia, Refractory Sleep Apnea and Cochlear implant. The practice trains one fellow annually.

Successful applicants must be fellowship-trained, board-certified and eligible for an unrestricted Tennessee license.

Additional training beyond traditional clinical fellowship skills may be negotiated.

Academic rank will be determined by experience and academic productivity.
