Pediatric ENT - UCSF Fresno

UCSF Fresno/Community Regional Medical Center is seeking a pediatric otolaryngologist for full time employment. The position would be within a multi-specialty group practice (PRS and OMS) as well as work with the UCSF Fresno OMS residents and head and neck oncology/microvascular fellow for clinical teaching and to assist in clinical and on call coverage. Participation within the craniofacial team would also be expected. The salary would be highly competitive for a new graduate and the variety of cases on par with any large academic medical center.

The position is based at Community Regional Medical Center, a 685-bed regional academic medical center, with a 90 bed NICU that serves a large and diverse patient population. Our hospital is the only tertiary care center in our region and operates the third busiest emergency room in California and the only level one trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. More than 5000 births occur annually at CRMC, and 5000 births at our sister hospital Clovis Community Regional. Plans are underway to add another 100 beds to the Clovis Medical center as well as to build a one billion dollar 800 bed Women and Children’s Tower at Community Regional.

Fresno is the fifth largest city in California with Yosemite and Sequoya national parks 90 minutes away, the central coast 1.5 hours away and 3 hours to San Francisco and Los Angeles. Despite the size and amenities available in the city and surrounding areas the cost of living is low relative to California. It is one of the highest producing agricultural areas in the world. A high-speed train is under construction in Fresno to provide 1-hour service to San Francisco.
