Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology

NorthShore University HealthSystem, the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, is seeking a full time Pediatric Otolaryngologist to lead the Division of Pediatrics Otolaryngology for the collective Advocate-Northshore Pediatric Partnership.

This is an opportunity to join our exciting strategic partnership for pediatric care between NorthShore University HealthSystem and Advocate Children’s Hospital. The joining of pediatric services at NorthShore with Advocate Children’s Hospital creates the area’s second-largest integrated and comprehensive system of pediatric experts—from primary care to highly specialized care. The partnership also provides a platform for shared development of new programs and services, resulting in broader access to pediatricians and pediatric specialists with a shared commitment to deliver top-quality care at a lower cost.

The successful candidate will have completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship and have demonstrated clinical and administrative experience. Academic appointment to the University of Chicago is available to qualified candidates. This is a full-time, non-tenured position with salary and academic rank to be based on the candidate’s qualifications. This is a unique opportunity to help develop and build a fully integrated, academically-oriented Pediatric Otolaryngology program based in the northern suburbs of Chicago with reach throughout Chicagoland.

Located in Chicago's Northern suburbs, NorthShore’s Medical Group is a physician-led, multi-specialty group with over 975 physicians. In our new partnership with Advocate Children’s Hospital, the Advocate-NorthShore Pediatric Partnership is fully integrated and includes 16 hospitals, over 500 pediatric physicians, and the largest employed primary care pediatric group in the region.
