Application Deadline: January 1st, 2013 Interview dates: February 17 & 18, 2013, and April 21 & 22, 2013 Starting Date: July 1 Duration of Fellowship: 2 years University Affiliation: University of Arkansas Licensing Requirement: Arkansas Licensure Required Appointment Level: Fellow and Instructor – Department of Otolaryngology, University of Arkansas Operating Privileges: Instructor level Clinic Responsibilities: Weekly fellow clinic, and instructing residents in general clinics Operative Experience: Complete spectrum of pediatric otolaryngology problems from ear to airway with addition of cleft lip and palate repair, pediatric facial plastics, and surgical treatment of vascular anomalies. Research: Clinic and basic science Resident Supervision: Yes Case Load: Approximately 12,000 cases per year are seen in the clinic, and 4,200 operative cases per year Benefits: Medical, dental, liability, life and disability insurance Additional Information: This is a fellowship which encompasses all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology and extensive opportunity research to build ones academic platform.  The fellows are available to attend all major cases and participate in daily rounds, teaching sessions, weekly conferences, and research activities.
