•    Operative Experience: Wide exposure to all areas of routine, as well as more complex pediatric otolaryngological procedures including cochlear implants, airway management, laryngotracheal reconstruction, head and neck masses, surgical and laser treatment of vascular anomalies, and sinus surgery.
•    Clinic Responsibilities: Staffing Required
•    Research: Clinical and basic science.  Dedicated time available.
•    Case Load: Approximately 14,000 outpatient visits at main campus; approximately 6000 surgical procedures inpatient and outpatient main campus
•    Call Responsibilities: On average, every 4th day as resident back up; faculty on call as well
•    Resident Supervision: Yes
•    Salary Range: Appropriate for level of training
•    Benefits: Commensurate with the University Graduate Medical Education Policy

Additional information:  Our pediatric otolaryngology faculty offer a broad spectrum of exposure to the world of pediatric otolaryngology.  An additional strength includes many multidisciplinary clinics and teams to manage patients with complex needs:  Aerodigestive and Voice Clinic, Tracheostomy and Ventilator Clinic, Multidisciplinary Sinus Clinic, Saliva Control Clinic, Vascular Anomaly Clinic, Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic, Voice Clinic, Maternal Fetal Medicine Program and EXIT procedures,   Tracheal team for cardiothoracic patients, FEES Clinic, Velocardiofacial Syndrome Clinic, Cochlear Implant Team, and Sleep Clinic.  A strong didactic program is in place including practical courses in endoscopy, temporal bone, and sinus surgery.
